I've found out that Pagid do in fact make pads for the SVX. Part numbers T0009 (front) and T3021 (rear). Despite the massive vote of confidence for EBC, I feel like giving the Pagids a try.
The front ones are £31.05 + VAT from
http://www.bgdevelopments.co.uk/ (although they don't keep them in stock) Seems more reasonable than the genuine Subaru pads which our dealer sells at £105.74 + VAT.
I'll let you all know how we get on with them.
