the problem with the blue book is the older the car is the less accurate it is sence the numbers are based off of figures collected from dealership auctions... so if a car is rare or not passing though alot of auctions then the price may not be the cars actual value but it is at least a good guide as a starting point... you know so you dont think your car is worth 10,000 when it is really worth 100
