i was kinda in the same boat, looking for AWD, good power, handling, braking, and a nice appearance.

i ended up at the used G37, $29k. not many power mods (a few and a tune can get you some extra hp, but not like a turbo car, and not worth the $/hp ratio, IMHO). 330hp is plenty for me as a daily driver and its no slouch as it is. i just added a $250 axle-back exhaust for a little deeper tone.

a used 996 twin turbo was also on my list, but the prices on those where shooting up at the time.
