So since we picked up a new car on Wednesday, we're gonna put my wife's 91 Legacy Turbo up for sale. Thought it would be a good idea to fix the non-working AWD, so today I drove it to work and pulled the extension housing off, and I discovered that the transfer clutch drum was completely sheared off the shaft!
So I borrowed the courtesy shuttle from work (we don't offer shuttle service on Saturday anymore) and came home and snagged the entire transfer housing off the old transmission out of my SVX and swapped the entire thing over. No more burnouts across intersections now LOL, although I do have to put the old rims back on it. (It's got WRX wheels on it now, but the fronts are nearly bald). So if anyone's lookin for a 91 Legacy turbo sedan with ~140k on it let me know :-)
