Welcome to the forum. In answer to your question, just diconnect the plug and give the remaining unit a part twist. I cannot remember if its right or left, but it doesnt take much force. The bulb is just a twist-lock in the hole. Remmeber when putting in the new bulb, never toutch the surface of the bulb glass with your fingers. The oils from your hands will cause premature failure.
