Apologetic newbie with basic headlight question
Hi.
I just found this forum (link was posted in an alt.autos.subaru usenet post) and I think my faith in the internet was just rekindled...
Anyway, I have a very basic question. I tried searching the thread archive and couldn't find a reference to this - I apologize if I missed a thread that already answers it.
One of the low beam headlights is burned out. I just want to replace the bulb. I see where the bulb attaches to the rear of the headlamp enclosure, and it looks like I have to remove a plug type connector, and then (possibly) remove threee philips head screws to get the bulb assembly out. How do I remove this connector without breaking it? There is a, uh, latching tab (?) that clicks into place - do I depress something, lift something, just pull, what? Also, once I get the electrical connection disconnected, do I really need to remove some screws, or is the bulb assembly removeable with a simple 'n pull type motion?
Thanks,
