I guess some of us oldtimers...OK, I ...have this fear, that every car built since the late '80s has a secret sensor buried somewhere that will come back to screw things up even with the simplest "unbolt & rebolt" mechanism. I inwardly know that this is absurd, but every time I attempt to tinker with something on the left, it confuses something on the right. Plus, like a lot of folks here, I don't want it sitting on jack stands while I enroll in Auto Mechanics 101 for Dummies.
