I saw many tuned-up cars with orange lenses in Japan. Back in 80's almost every tuned up cars had orange lenses. Maybe to make the front face meaner or more sporty look?
If you know Nissan Skyline GTR R32 (1989), Those stock orange corners were nice on the car. I saw a SVX with the orange corner lenses, headlights, and the grill from R32. I don't know if I like that hybrid though. I like both GTR(R32) and SVX, but the hybrid, ahh..I don't know.
