I have been using an inhouse Email application made by the company I work for. Its not as effected by email viruses as the normal Microsoft based ones, and it was designed to integrate with Lotus Notes, but also fully supports POP3 mail. It also reads your email to you, very fun, and it lets you create voice email aswell as text email.
