all '02+ Subaru B-pillars have a solid steel rod wrapped in 8 layers of high strength steel. its one of the reasons i bought my wife a WRX -very safe. i most certainly didn't even consider the fun factor.

i also won't get a motorcycle due to too many morons talking on cellphones, sending text messages, eating McValue Meals, and putting on makeup while driving.
