Critical Update.

No cardboard no aluminum no anything extra.

Tonight after work (approx 11:10pm) I started up, parked with the handbrake in drive, and chatted with a coworker (GL wagon owner) about our cars.

Temp tonight according to the SVX thermo was 2 deg F sitting, -1 deg F moving.

I drove home, (7 miles) nothing. Parked in drive again and let her run while I grabbed a few things (xylene and stuff).
Went on my way to the gas station, TC locked as it is supposed to. It did struggle a few times. I'm sure that's because it was on the verge of locking temp. I'm also sure this was the problem FATS couldn't find when I explained it to them.
Hesitation. I'm positive now that it was just my confused TC as when the temp is extremely cool or warm there is no hesitation, and what confirmed it for me was a series of 3 hesiitations ending with a lock at about 50.

I'm not going to change anything but my morning starting habit.

If anything I just said confuses you or doesn't add up ask me to elaborate but please be specific on what.
