Stalling going into gear when cold.
Hi,
First thing in the morning, my car will start and idle fine, but will stall either the moment it goes into gear or, if I shift fast enough after starting the car it will shudder and stall when I come to the first stop (unless I get it into neutral).
It will only do this after sitting overnight, IE when I start it to go for lunch or home from work it will be fine (I do have a surging/bouncing idle when warmed up, but I think this is unrelated).
Seems to be torque converter related, any ideas?
