EG33 Electronis question

I've been having intermediate problems with FrankenWedge…
My EG33 powered XT6

3 times now out of the blue, it just won’t start, it’ll crank fine, but doesn’t start.
It will usually start up eventually, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes a little longer, but I drove it the other day, and it started fine in the morning, and fine when I left work, but I went to move it a couple hours later, and it wouldn’t start, and hasn’t since (Though I haven’t really tried for a few days now)
It acts like it’s not getting fire to the plugs, but it’s not that easy to check for spark, when you don’t have plug wires… , and it’s a pain to pull one of the coils off to check for fire (yeah, I’m being lazy)

It acts like our old OBS did when it had a Crank position sensor going bad….so some of you more electronically minded folk, give me some direction…does it sould likely to be a Crank or Cam Position Sensor?

Oh yeah, I have no way to check for codes on it since the swap...as the CEL isn't wired to the EG33's ECU, nor do I have the connectors to hook it up to a scan tool....

I do have a spare EG33 to pull parts from though….
