As for the radiator, I'm going to put one in the front trunk. This is usually the spot where people add front mounted oil coolers. Other people that have done conversions to water-cooled engines have placed their radiators here and routed their water lines back with very few problems. The only catch is that you need to cut two small openings in the wheel wells for the hot air to exit. I have seen this on a V8 conversion that kept the engine temps down very nicely.
As for the ecu, my first attempt will be using a stock ecu. I'll need to pick up an OBDI to match my '92 engine and start playing with the wires. I think the stock Suby ecu would be better than trying to using a stand-alone system.
