Try to tighten the belt first and see if the noise is still present, then you should consider other serious options...

When the belt is tight, it wouldn't make that noise.

Some people either put some water on the sterring pulley and the squealing jsut go away... personally i would put just a couple of drops of ATF on the pulley, it lasts more than water...
