superstition? nah, just mental association. I think it comes down to a "era think" and the fact that many folks in an era that we all associate with get "old" at the same time and subsequently die around the same time. I associate this phenomenon with the statistical probability that, in a crowded bar, there is a high probability you'll find at least two people with the same birthday.
