Hi guys n gals, haven't been on for a while, but could suggest Taree if looking for somewhere quiet with lots of motels about.
Taree used to be on the highway,but is now bypassed so the local motels are always hungry for customers.
Having said that, the September long weekend is when we have the 'Old Bar Festival' (
a coastal town nearby), so lots of people come up from Sydney.
Actually it could be interesting to 'crash' the festival as each year they try to set a record for the largest gathering of VW Kombi's, maybe the SVX's would be an added attraction?
I have contacts for the organisers if interested..
The reason I'm here?, I'm hoping to shortly pick up my next car (
Manual 3.0B SpecR Liberty wagon) so my poor old SVX will be ready to move on, so I will be giving everyone here first bite.
Will come with a second engine and box, an assortment of worn out spares
