This is a good discussion & why not add a little something? The Boeing reference was good but they're more focused on achieving lift and improving airflow / fuel consumption through the winglets offered on many of their aircraft now. The spoiler thing has been about downforce and you really gotta be moving to obtain any effect. They can be nicely done or cheesy & a good design / installation would be essential. Just my humble opinion but I'd keep a 65k "97" as original as I could knowing that mods or body changes would detract from its value in the long term. Just personal choice though & we get to personalize our cars as we see fit. That's part of the coolness of checking out all the different SVX looks that are out there. But I did ponder this, what would that Italian guy with the hard to pronounce last name think of his beautiful Italian design being altered with a wing conceptualized from a Toyota? Aaarrgghhh! I can hear him now. Oh, he don't count - good luck with the project!
