you have to be careful refinishing hard wood. if it has been done before you might not want to do it again because the sanding will take to much of the wood away and the tung and grove wont be stronk enough th hold together. i this is a first time refinish that yo'll be ok. but i would have a pro look at it before you rent a stripper (the kind that strips on wood not on a poll)
