I want everyone who actually books a room at the hotel to add their name, screen name, number of nights reserved, CONFIRMATION NUMBER and type of room.

This will make it much easier for me (and the hotel) to keep track of where we are and what we may need. And all of the records in one place in case of a problem.

The importance of a confirmation number.A member here registered for a room and is nowunable to attend. At his request, I tried to transfer his room to another member, but the original confirmation was missing. The hotel had no record of his reservationrequest and searches by dates and last name showed nothing.

Finally got a hold of the original member and got the confirmation number. Once we had that, a search of the HI national database quickly showed that he had indeed reserved a room for three nights...

at the Holiday Inn in MORGANTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA!

Had he showed up, he would not have had a room anyway.

Don't be afraid to post the confirmation number; it contains no financial or sensitive information. IT IS JUST A LOCATING MARKER IN THE RESERVATION SYSTEM.

If you are still paranoid, use x's in place and send the actual number to me by email and I will store it. My computer system is totally secure and has the same firewalls, anti-virus and security features that is used by the NSA. Runs a bit slower, but NOTHING gets in... ever.

I do not get phished, spammed, bannered, trojaned, malwared, wormed or otherwise infected. Worth the limitations.
