well mine is a 92 and from what i read those are the ones you most need to worry about...the guy i bought mine from said that the transmission was replaced a loooooong time ago when they did the recall or whatever it was....so i have feeling you should be ok with a newer SVX but im not really an expert
so id be sure to ask about it
