An old friend on the local police force said there are a lot of new young bucks who think they are Rambo.

Yea, we got 'Rambo types' too! I was sitting on the front porch one night. A cruizer was sitting up the street, another cruizer stopped by and the cops were standing on the sidewalk talking to a 'psyco-dude' that had the house rented.
I HEAR a throttle-body fully opened, but there are no cars on my 'horizon'. Then I see headlights. They are about 1/2 mile away and 'closing fast'!
There are no 'red and blues', no audiables, ( EXCEPT a throttle body), and MY estimated speed of the aproaching car was in EXCESS of 100 MPH! ( in a 25 mph zone).
(I ride my BICYCLE on these streets)
Rambo pulls to the curb, departs his taxpayer funded vehicle and walks to the other cops standing on the sidewalk and watches them talk to the psyco.
Now, IF there were cops hiding BEHIND their vehicles, weapons drawn, I could have made some sence of the spectical that I had just witnessed.
I think it was the same 'RAMBO' that crashed my grandson's birthday party in a local park a week sooner. ( old ladys with a handfull of cake RUNNING to the shelter of the rocks, to keep the speeding cop cars from running them down). Did I mention that we were "IN A PARK???"
Bad cops making things rough for the rest of them!
