I was attempting to check out my brakes to see if I could stop the squeaking and well, the jack slipped. No damage to the car because the jack ended up bending slowly and letting it down nice and easy (even if it was on the rotor). So anyway, my jack from my truck is now semi-twisted and I would not feel safe using it. I checked subaruparts, $115 for the jack! Is there any jack that will fit in the same spot? If not I'll probably just get a little one from Wal-Mart (comes in a case about the size of the glovebox).
