Ah, too bad the timing's off, but a weekend with the SO in Florida certainly takes precedence. Well, if you're there some other weekend with some spare time, come on up anyway. But I guess they keep you pretty busy over weekends, too.
What it means is that you may have a hard time getting him back - my wife has said something along the same lines. It has gone from something like: Well, I like it better than I thought I would. to: I like driving this car. Since she's had all this time alone with him.
