That had to have made your trunk awfully messy.
Seriously, if you know where the water pump is located, crawl under with a flashlight and see if the coolant is coming out of the "weep hole." It's a little hole in the bottom of the pump that is there to say, "It's time to change me."
Also check your hose connections to the radiator and make sure your cap fits tightly. Check the overflow pipe to make sure it's not loose from the cap outlet. Those are the simple things. if you don't see anything, then, look for pinholes in the radiator. If no pinholes, look for corrosion at the seams . . . and on, and on.
