I know that NUTSHL (Ian) has 2 SVXs at his place that he is thinking about wrecking in West Auckland - or getting someone to swap over the gearbox into his "nutshl svx" from the actual car he was given (rough body but good engine/transmission)- he has neither the time or space to attempt to do it himself, I have the time but not the space to help him.

I know he would prefer to get NUTSHL going, as it is a great looking car with just a bad gearbox.
You can also try Peter Smith-west also in West Auckland - he has wrecked about 4 SVXs over the past 10 years & has lots (I mean a shed full!! including whole harnesses) of spare parts for the various ones that he has carefully stripped - I suggested that Ian (above) get in contact with Peter to ask if he would do the gearbox swap for the price of the second SVX (eg give the SVX to Peter for his time etc).
