I just had my windshield replaced.... they used the "regular" one, ordered through the dealer.
I like it for 2 reasons: 1 - it was cheaper.....(hence, no increase in insurance premium) 2 - my garage door opener works a hell of a lot better! therefore, my radar detector should as well......
