My visor fix was to fasten them with velcro attached to the back of the visors and the top of the car. This removes the visors from impeding vision when they droop, but makes their use quite difficult when they are needed. A hand positioned directly above the eyes is just as effective, nearly.

My father has been driving my car lately since my sister has been stealing his to go to grad school/work with, and apparently he uses visors. So his visor fix was to have the dealership replace them. Granted it was a bit costly, but effective!

So here's the fix: Just let someone who uses visors barrow your car for a while and eventually they will have them replaced. After all, it is a safety issue.
