It's pretty simple...just pry out the unit. Disconnect the harness. Then I think you have to pry it apart using the plastic little tabs on the sides. Then it all will want to fall apart...the pad, and the switch, but it's a no brainer to put it back together. If I can recall correctly...on the circuit part of the module...in the middle of the part where the pad sits...there's this little brown rubber square. Gently pull that off and you'll see the micro lamp kind of embedded in there...carefully unravel the wires and remove the lamp. Make sure you note how the wires wrap and put the new micro lamp in. Be careful b/c the rubber will rip easily. Put everything back together...pop it back in...and presto! I give the gift of light! heh...sorry if those instructions were a little confusing
