But I am sorrowful to report that this adapter, despite being self-powered, succumbs to the "92 Bug." In fact, it succumbs
worse than our original adapter!
If you connect and send "45 12 34 00" to query the transmission, it works fine and dandy. Nothing wrong there.
If you connect and send "78 12 34 00" to query the engine, nothing happens.
Nothing at all.
I will continue trying some things in the mean time.
