No, really.
A buddy of mine thought my SVX was pretty hot stuff. A couple months ago he spotted one for sale at a dealership, so he stopped in to take it for a drive. He got pretty excited at the prospect of owning one, so he started trying to figure out how he could afford it. (First problem.)
Unlike many of the cars he's owned in the past, the SVX is a real gem, and worth preserving. He wanted to be sure it lived a good life, but he
was a smoker and he didn't want a tobacco-stained car. (Second problem.)
Solution? Quit smoking.
He quit smoking the day he decided he wanted an SVX. So far, no car. It's been a couple months, but he's still looking. Now he's got an extra hundred bucks a month to spend.
That kinda brings tears to my eyes. *Sniff*
