So is it possible it could be the tranny even though the noise occurs in neutral? Please forgive my ignorance but I'm not quite sure where the tranny's mounted. Somewhere in the middle of the car I presume. So if I were to have someone rev the engine while I listened, where amidst the car would I need to take notice?
