This week I bought 'Grassroots Motorsports.' Cool magazine, geared towards the weekend racer. I was a little skeptical after I took it out of the bag and read on the cover, 'Ford Pinto: More Sporty than You Thought!' but it's turned out to be very interesting.
I also picked up, about a month ago, 'Racecar Engineering.' The articles are definitely intended for an audience that's higher up the motorsports food chain, but it was fascinating to read.
Along with RE, I bought an issue of EVO. I dig British car magazines like EVO and CAR. They may not have the most original titles, but they definitely appeal to me more than American car magazines. They don't seem to be advertisements masquerading as journalism. But then, maybe it only seems that way to me because half the cars they review aren't available here.
