How conveniently we forget.

How conveniently we forget.

This thread has run for 7 pages with 90 posts. I have read all of them and you would think that terrorism started with 9/11.

Does no body remember the 9/10/45 when the first WEAPON OF MASS DISTRUCTION was used to incinerate the men, women and children of Hiroshima? Then three days later, the city of Nagasaki was incinerated with it’s men, women and children.

The sight of children running down the road with their skin hanging off their bodies, should have taught us something.
No, the same vision of children running down the road with their skin burnt and hanging from their bodies in Vietnam showed that we have leant nothing.

As an Australian I abhor war in all its actions. The only way arms should be taken up is in self-defence, and I don’t believe going into someone else’s backyard to kill them, can be self-defence, that is an offence!

No body wins a war, everybody loses, except the traders of war.

LEST WE FORGET.
Harvey.
