Hood support struts...(AFBeefcake)
I saw the pictures of your strut installation. I bought the BK.819-5591 struts from NAPA, installed them and found that they won't support my hood.
Had you already stripped out the inner linning of the hood? What would make your hood lighter than mine? How long ago was this picture and installation done? Maybe there was a manufacturing change in the strut if it was several years ago....I am confused and not sure how to make it work.
