It actually sonds like a damn good idea. I guess that you may want to pressure wash, rust treat, and paint the containers as soon as you get them to get off any salt / stop further rusting. I did a little research too, they have half height ones that are 4-4.5 feet, full sized ones are 8.5 - 9.5 feet tall. at 8 feet wide and 20 feet deep....Pretty decent sized garage.Not to mention that you would have 2x 20'x8'x9' sections from the sides you cut out to open it up. That can probly be recycled to make an overhang off the side to store stuff under like firewood or building supplies. Or hell even a place to park the car
