Tranny Filter

Ok, I am replacing the External filter and internal filter on my tranny, for the external I am using the Perma-cool kit and internal I am using the standard replacement. I was wondering what would be recommended for the fluid? I was thinking of using AMSOIL since that is what I run in my engine as well. Also, Does anyone have a link on how to flush the tranny? I noticed that there is a how-to on this but I cant recall so... Is there a gasket I need for the the tranny pan or just use some of that orange gasket compound stuff(for lack of the name) ? Any other ideas to protect this tranny would be greatly appreciated
