Should I use gasket sealant or just slap the metal one in and forget it? BTW, I found that you can use mechanics picks (or a hangar cut into pieces about 6" long) to line the gasket and pump with the engine holes and it makes the job a lot easier. Tie wrap the two small water hoses out of the way and it's almost too easy.

The tap worked great
The new water pump is installed. I used a slight coat of RTV and the hangar trick was awesome. How can we get this added to the timing belt procedure?
