Foamy Engine Brite, hose, and toothbrush, Q-tips, rags for the tough stuff..
don't use steam - it gets inside connectors. i use the steam on stuff i can remove (engine cover, caps, etc., but NOT IN the engine bay.
finish up with detailing spray and plastic/rubber/vinyl protectant.
