Dale: Glad to see sanity re-emerge. The PPG paint job was one-of-a-kind and would have been impossible to duplicate. Overspraying a contrast color can be a tricky operation and most come out looking odd, at best. I think you have chosen a better way to achieve a unique look, and it shouldn't be difficult to do. Better yet, it will look like it may have come from the factory that way. If you are hung up on the PPG colors, you could use the purple on top and........no, we'd better not go there. Best wishes.
