The only thing that I can figure is some kind of fluid ( rear diff oil, gasoline, engine oil) is somehow leaking on the exhaust system and igniting. Are all (ALL) your heat shields in place? Since the rear diffy caught fire twice, start you investigation there. Get the car fully warmed up, drive it a little bit then put it on a lift to check things out. Good Luck.
