This is a familiar syndrome. I had until recently 13 pairs of skis in my storeroom. Wouldn't part with em and my wife got concerned so off to see a "professional" to understand this affliction. My analyst described my condition as "hording". I guess skis only work one pair at a time (jus like SVX's) and after paying my fee, felt a hell of a lot better. Several days later I loaded up the van and off to the Goodwill donation station I went. Now I'm at 6 pair and feel so liberated from my former state of mind.
