No.... the VR6 is an 'insert' filter.... it doesn't come in a can like most.... it's kind of a pain but is actually really clever on the design side... the drain plug is in the bottom of the cap that holds it in....
it is the engine that takes the particular size so going somewhere to get an oil change means you add $15 to the price..... so I get the $6 one at the parts store....
