Transmission resistor
I have read my transmission codes and the only one it was putting out was code 11. The TCU code chart said that was solenoid A, but I have been told that a faulty resistor behind the battery will throw code 11 to. I checked my resistor today and it was way out of spec. So I went and talked to my local Subaru dealer to find out how much a new one was. Get ready for this one....$117.50. I couldn't believe it. I saw in the how-to-do documents that you can buy a 25w 15ohms resistor and just replace it yourself, but I can't find one anywhere. Anybody else gone threw this. Also will that resistor being bad mess anything up? Thanks
