Actually, we have a limited slip rear diff so we are 3 wheel drive. If one of the fronts goes in the air we are down to 2wd but you should never have the rest of the wheels sitting dead in an svx unless something is broken.

A limited slip is actually better for general driving in snow vs. a true lockup diff in that a lockup would have both wheels spinning the same speed in a turn which could cause you to lose traction. A true lockup is for off roading or getting unstuck.
