My 92 LS -Tour had a bad tranny when I purchased it( along with BOTH rear wheel bearings bad) I replaced it with a Legacy Trans, but with the SVX front diff, the front axle bearing failed after about 1500 miles(which is in the original front diff with 148k miles on it) Now it's in the process of a 5-speed swap.
My 94 SVX-L FWD has 86k on it with no failures, I don't think the FWD's have nearly as much failure problem, which is why it's my day to day driver.
