If you are doing it like I did it, you have to remember that to remove the PCV, you need to set your socket wrench as if you are tightening something. That's because you are actually trying to loosen it 'backwards', so to speak. I originally did the same thing, and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't budge. I hope this helps.
