That's what I use for bleeding brakes. It works great, but, it's hard to get a real tight fitting on the nipple, so you will almost always pull some air into the clear tubing. This doesn't affect the brakes at all. But if you keep pumping till "no more bubbles appear in the line" you'll drain your system.
