Quite wrong, my dear boy. Although it is called a "second" opinion, it would be the *first* second opinion following the initial opinion. If I get a "second" opinion from one doctor and then go to another doctor for an "opinion," would this be a "second, second opinion," or a "third" opinion. Can we continue to get several "second opinions" like the "first second opinion" the "second, second opinion" the "third second opinion" and so on, or do we have to sequence them as in "first opinion, second opinion, third opinion, etc?" Makes one ponder, doesn't it? What's your opinion?
(Can anyone tell that this "writer" is having a slow week?)
