"The engine in this car has turbo pistons, which reduce the compression ratio to 8:1 (OEM pistons from Subaru EJ22T turbo Legacy engines, taken out of new shortblocks by Crawford Performance) and allow the engine to run on regular unleaded".
Interesting claims, but somehow sounds fishy to me.
